| Music Adobe Acrobat Reader v.8 is available, free, from Adobe. Participants are expected to have looked at the music before attending the course. Course pitch in general will be A415 for string instruments and A440 for recorders unless otherwise designated. Students, both wind and strings, who wish to play in the baroque orchestra should bring their own instruments. Early application for solo classes is advised as numbers are restricted. 2008 final performance will be Purcell's Dido and Aeneas. A limited number of viols will be available for hire at a charge of £20, including insurance. Baroque violins and bows will be available by prior arrangement. Lutes are available for hire for those applying before June. Enquire about hiring instruments. During the week provision will be made for revoicing recorders. |
